On Saturday, June 10th, David Marrs Trees was out on a job in Ellensburg, WA involving Aspen and Cottonwood tree removals. The crew removed about 6 dead Aspen trees in the customer’s greenbelt along with two large Cottonwood trees near the customer’s home.
Here is a video showing the process!
Aspen Tree Removals
The dead Aspen trees in the greenbelt were at risk of falling onto the neighbor’s property. The customer wanted them removed before that happened. Since the greenbelt was swampy, the customer wanted the trees left on site in the greenbelt. We were able to offer a discount for that since it saves time. We are always happy to work with customers on special arrangements like this.

Cottonwood Tree Removals
The next part of the job was the removal of two large Cottonwood trees near the home. The customer wanted these removed simply because the amount of Cottonwood seeds dropping out of the tree was becoming a nuisance. Since these trees were near the home, careful rigging was required. Take a look at the video to see how that works!

Cleanup and Customer Review
After completing both portions of the job, the crew did a complete and thorough cleanup. We always leave the jobsite cleaner than we found it. There was a lot of debris that resulted from the removal of the Cottonwoods. They are a messy tree but with some attention to detail, there was no sign that we were there other than the missing trees. Just like the customers like it!
Here is what the customer had to say about the job:
Thank you. You guys did a fantastic job!
