Rigging Like A Pro

This tree was very close to the home, so David had to use some pretty standard, yet very well executed, rope-rigging techniques to lower out the branches and top of the tree. Cedar tree removal rope rigging techniques involve attaching a rope to the piece being cut, then wrapping the rest of the rope around branch stubs or other parts of the tree to create friction. This allows the climber to use the rope to control the descent of the branch or trunk piece as the friction of the rope-wraps around the tree slow the descent of the piece.

Dropping the Trunk Pieces

Throughout the rest of this Cedar tree removal, David cut the trunk pieces into approximately 16″ rounds and dropped them out of the tree. This allows the climber to dismantle the tree, piece by piece. This is necessary when there are too many structures or hazards to fell the tree whole. Cutting and dropping that many rounds out of a tree obviously demands skill, strength, endurance, and great overall fitness. David Marrs Trees is able to bring lots of value to the customer because of those characteristics. Choose us for your tree removals because you want the job done right by a pro.
