Q: What is the average price to cut down a tree?

A: The average price to cut down a tree, or the average price to remove a large tree, can be anywhere from $800 to $5,000 or more depending on many factors. The type of tree, whether it is dead/alive/hazardous, what’s underneath it, and access to the tree are all important considerations. The only way an accurate price can be given is if we set up an appointment to come estimate the job and give an official quote.

Q: Are you a licensed, bonded, insured tree service?

A: Yes, we are a licensed, bonded, and insured contractor with the Washington Department of Labor and Industries (Contractors License #DAVIDMT791J8)

A: The only way we can give an accurate price is to come out and see the job and offer an official quote.

Q: There is a house/shed/fence/carport/other structure under the tree that needs to be removed or trimmed. Can you do this work without damaging the structure?

A: Yes, David is highly skilled with technical rope rigging techniques and can use them to ensure that nothing will hit your structure. Take a look at the REMOVALS page for more info.

Q: Can you haul away the debris from the removal or pruning job?

A Yes, we will haul all brush and debris away by default unless you request in your quote that you would like it left in place to save some money. When we clear debris, we will not only get rid of everything we dropped to the ground in the course of the job, we promise to leave the section of the property we worked in looking better than it did before.

Q: Can you leave firewood from the tree?

A: Yes, if you specify in your estimate request that you would like to keep the firewood we will cut the tree into 8-12″ rounds, leave them where they fell, that you can then split into firewood.
