Black Walnut & Maple Trimming, Willow Removal

Tree Trimming & Removal in Ellensburg, WA

On Thurs Feb 23, David Marrs Trees was out in Ellensburg WA on a job involving trimming a Black Walnut & Maple, as well as removing a willow. Here’s a video walk-thru of that job. It can be a good idea to have both tree trimming & removal done on the same project to save money!

Video walk-thru of the job from David.

If you’ve ever wondered about whether or not you should prune your tree, check out this article here from Angie’s List about why pruning is important. Here’s the picture before David trimmed up this tree.

Here’s our before picture for the day.

And here’s the after picture, showing a nicely trimmed up tree.

You know tree trimming is done right when the trimming is balanced and evenly distributed.

As you can see in the video, there was also a willow tree that came down. The tree was hazardous since it was overhanging the power-drop. If you have ever wondered if you have a dead tree on your hands, this article about identifying dead trees from Angi’s list is a good place to start. Here is another one from the Family Handyman blog with some other tips.
